This charming riverfront cottage was owned by one of West Michigan's best known artists. The rustic cottage has a number of decorative touches that reflect the artist. It is located high above the Kalamazoo River connecting Saugatuck Harbor and Lake Michigan. There are two bedrooms; one with a queen size bed and one with twin beds. The beds are new. The living/dining/kitchen great room has a unique red fireplace and a majestic view of the river. The small kitchen has an antique sink but no dishwasher. The cottage has central air conditioning. There is even a dock where your power boat can be docked. The cottage is a short walk from downtown shops and restaurants. Everything about this charming cottage is unique and will remind you of summer vacations at the lake when you were a kid; or the cottage in the movie "On Golden Pond".
