This is a fantastic cottage that has been recently and totally remodeled. The owner has incorporated the best of everything a deluxe cottage can have e.g. central air conditioning, stainless appliances, lighting, WIFI, flat screen TVs, top quality furniture, dishes & glassware , etc. There is even a generator that automatically kicks in if the power goes off. It is ideally located on Saugatuck's Lake Kalamazoo Harbor and is only a short (1 1/2 block) walk from downtown shops, restaurants and the Center for the Arts. It has three bedrooms (two w/queen beds & one with a set of twins). There are two and 1/2 baths (one with tub/shower & one with shower). The ample living room incorporates a large flat screen TV with a superb sound system, XM radio receiver and even a regulation pool table. The large kitchen is fully equipped with top quality counter tops, cabinets and appliances, including of course a dishwasher. The adjoining dining room comfortably seats 8. The living room, dining room and kitchen all have a great view of the harbor and the S.S Keewatin cruise ship/maritime museum. There is free WIFI and ethernet connections throughout the house. The upstairs bedrooms each have a large flat screen TV. The large lawn on the lake side is ideal for yard games, sunbathing and entertaining. The patio has a table w/chairs and gas grill for hosting those enjoyable summer cookouts. There is dockage for a couple of shallow draft boats and good access to the channel and Lake Michigan. This cottage is ideal for family vacations or several couples to enjoy the company of each other and the relaxing atmosphere of Saugatucks' culture and water front lifestyle.
