There is a complete kitchen w/dishwasher and laundry facilities. The cottage has central air-conditioning. The large side yard is a great place for a picnic, grilling, or yard games. There is off-street parking for two cars. This is a wonderful cottage for an intimate romantic get-away or for a family with children. Small dogs are allowed with the owners permission. The house has a lovely shaded setting and a large yard with swing & firepit. There is also an attached deck with table & chairs and a gas grill. The Old Mill is a historic Saugatuck landmark and due to its uniqueness and beauty, may be the most photographed site in the city. Although the mill looks as it has for over a hundred years, it was recently enlarged and completely remodeled. The cottage has one bedroom with a queen sized bed and an adjoining bath and laundry room. There is a queen sized, sofa-bed in the living room and a half-bath. The full kitchen, dining area and adjoining deck, with grill, makes this a home away from home. It has wonderful views of the mill pond, the spillway that powers the wheel, and a lovely creek that joins the Kalamazoo River. It is the perfect get-a-way, where you can experience the romance of a running stream and pond (with its own family of ducks) and yet be within a short, two block walk to all of Saugatuck's fine shops and restaurants. It is located high above the Kalamazoo River connecting Saugatuck Harbor and Lake Michigan. There are two bedrooms; one with a queen size bed and one with twin beds. The beds are new. The living/dining/kitchen great room has a unique red fireplace and a majestic view of the river. The small kitchen has an antique sink but no dishwasher. The cottage has central air conditioning. There is even a dock where your power boat can be docked. The cottage is a short walk from downtown shops and restaurants. Everything about this charming cottage is unique and will remind you of summer vacations at the lake when you were a kid; It may remind you of the cottage in the movie "On Golden Pond". This lovely carriage house is hidden away on Goshorn Lake, one of West Michigan's prettiest and most serene lakes. Goshorn is a small private lake that is excellent for canoeing, kayaking, fishing or swimming (no outboard motors are allowed). The carriage house is located at the end of a long private driveway and is extremely secluded. It has a lovely view of the lake and surrounding woods. Goshorn lake is centrally located, just 5 - 10 minutes from downtown Saugatuck and Douglas and only 8 miles from Holland. The bedroom has a queen size bed. The living/dining great room is adjacent to the fully equipped kitchen w/dishwasher. The homeowner's dock can be used for swimming or to launch your canoe or kayak. Great views of the lake abound. The master bedroom has a lovely, attached sunroom. The large living room has a fireplace and lovely hardwood floors. The adjoining dining room has a large dining table and joins the kitchen. A large family room contains the cable TV and a cast iron fireplace. The kitchen has recently been remodeled with new granite counter tops, cabinets and appliances. The ground floor has a full bathroom and laundry room. A nice outdoor deck w/grill overlooks the backyard. The home is a short walk from the downtown shops and restaurants.
