Saugatuck and its sister city Douglas, has much to offer. Whether you're a sun-seeker looking for relaxation beach-side, an art buff, foodie, or adrenaline junkie, Saugatuck has something for you and your whole family.
Known as the "Art Coast of Michigan", Saugatuck is busting at the seams with art galleries and working artist studios – shop or take a hands-on approach by joining in the "art fun" at local art destinations around the area.
If the arts are your thing then Saugatuck will not disappoint. Boasting Broadway-quality theatre productions, music festivals, and a playhouse with local talent.
Rich and vibrant, the landscape surrounding the Saugatuck area is teeming with opportunity to enjoy nature and its bounty. Tour a vineyard, orchard or u-pick berry farm. Or if you prefer to stay in town for locally sourced foods and goods, take in the farmers/green market located at the Center for The Arts.
